The Cointreau Fiction is a light, refreshing cocktail that combines the delicate flavors of orange and lemon juice with the elegant orange liqueur Cointreau. The addition of sparkling soda water gives the drink a summery lightness – ideal for warm evenings, garden parties, or as an aperitif.

Ingredients for 1 glass

  • 4 cl Cointreau – the classic French orange liqueur
  • 2 cl freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Soda water – to top up to taste

  • Bar measure/jigger
  • Citrus press
  • Ice cube tray
  • Bar spoon for stirring (optional)
Preparation
  1. Fill the long drink glass with ice cubes.
  2. Measure Cointreau, orange, and lemon juice with a jigger and pour directly into the glass.
  3. Fill with soda water – about 6 to 10 cl, depending on the desired intensity.
  4. Optionally, stir carefully with a bar spoon.
